What is P2BL?

Proud To Be Local is more than a brand. It's a movement. This site is dedicated to people around the world who love hip hop. It's not just for musicians, but for engineers, designers, DJs, models, photographers, etc. It's even for those who just want to know what's going on in Indie hip hop period. There are many sites for people interested in main stream music, as well as those who focus on the indie music scene in certain cities, but not many (if any) who focus on hip hop from a global perspective.

Why do certain things I post on the site (events, videos, etc) have to be approved before they are visible to others?

To help reduce the amount of spam posted and try to ensure that quality material is loaded to the site, we felt it best to have P2BL staff members moderate these items.

Why can't I create new blog posts?

As much as we value your ideas and opinions, we wanted to keep the blog portion of this site simple and easy to administer. However, you can comment on blog posts. If you have your own blog site, you can post the link to it on your profile page and/or in your signature.

How can I become a featured artist?

If you are interested in being a featured artist, please use the Contact page to let us know of your interest. Be sure to include links to your press kit and/or music (including videos) and websites. You will be contacted with details such as terms, length of feature, and pricing info.

What does it mean to be a sponsor? How can my company become a sponsor? 

As a sponsor, you are showing your support for the mission of P2BL. Your company's logo and link to your site will be posted on each page of P2BL.
