am Da ButtonPusha a.k.a Da Grinda. I am from Pittsburgh, PA – I fell in love with hiphop when I was about 13 and KRS1 came to the Homewood Coliseum with DNice and Mz Melody. I was not sure what was goin on - but I knew I wanted to do it. His performance – their show – had a profound effect on me – yrs later I seen KRS1 as an adult – and he was rockin it – I was in the front of the stage – and he stopped and said – “Do not look at me in aww – wat I do U can do” – now many say he wasn’t talkin to me – lol – to this day my homies say he wasn’t talking to me – but he was looking at me – and to me HE WAS TALKING TO ME! Well – I been on my grind every since – I begin to teach myself how to deejay – make beats - rap – perform – then I begin public access TV shows – (3) of them (for 7yrs) which showcased young people and their hiphop talent(watch dabuttonztv on my page) – I have lectured and performed in schools, use hiphop to work with high risk youth , then I began a live hiphop showcase series in Pittsburgh called “The HipHopBuffet Series” – I ran that monthly for 4 yrs – now I only run the All Female annually .I also currently own and operate WWW.JPBTV.COM an online underground hiphop tv network and WGRIND RADIO NETWORK - which produced a radio show –called “UNDAGROUND BEAST RADIO” It aires weds nites 8pm to11pm est (begining 4/6/11) – my goal here is to build networks and support. I also hope to be able to apply my skills and give support as much as I can to who needs it. Im very excited to be apart of this network – thank u for creating it – I rep real undy hiphop til my breathe stop… DABUTTONPUSHA A.K.A.
